Accessibility Statement for Oviva App and Oviva Learning Website

Oviva is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Organisational measures to support accessibility

Our primary company value is to put the patient first. Ensuring our products are accessible to a diverse patient base is a key aspect of this commitment. We provide regular training for employees involved in developing our patient-facing products, including product managers, designers, and software engineers, focusing on accessibility standards and their practical application. We are ensuring our design system is accessible by default.

The Oviva App is a Class IIa medical device under MDR, and our quality management system is ISO 13485 certified. It includes accessibility standards as part of our standard operating procedures.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The Oviva App (available on iOS and Android) is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA.

The Oviva learning website (also accessible as a feature within the Oviva app) is fully conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA.

Alternative formats for accessibility

Oviva is dedicated to ensuring that all users, including those with impairments, can access our content in formats that meet their needs. In addition to standard digital access:

  • All learning text within the Oviva app and the Oviva learning website is also available in an audio format for users who prefer or require spoken content.
  • Video content is consistently subtitled to support those with hearing impairments.
  • Users can print all learning content directly from a web browser for offline use, or to access content in a larger format as required.

If you require additional assistance or specific alternative formats beyond what is listed, please contact us through the feedback channels provided, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
