Oviva combines support from health coaches, weight management specialists, and psychologists, via its NHS Digital-approved smartphone app or telephone consultations.

-
Oviva Adult & Paediatric Home Enteral Feeding is a service designed to help the transition from hospital to home for patients requiring tube feeding in the community.
-
The service provides one-to-one support from a personal dietitian with experience in the support and management of home enteral tube feeding via secure app coaching, phone/video calls or face-to-face appointments.
People on the service will have an initial consultation with their dietitian to create an individualised care plan to meet their specific nutritional requirements.
They will then follow this plan over the following weeks. During this time they will have regular follow up appointments with their dietitian who will ensure they are tolerating their feed, make any adjustments necessary and answer any questions they may have.
To help meet their nutritional requirements, the Oviva dietitian will share useful written information over the app, which can be accessed at any time, or via email.
-
You can have your appointments from the comfort of your own home via phone or video calls, or secure in-app messaging, or have face-to-face reviews.
-
Yes, you can include a carer or family member in your appointments.
-
Your dietitian will assess the appropriateness of your enteral nutrition and ensure you are receiving the correct nutrition and support to feel well and confident in managing your health. If you experience any symptoms, your dietitian will make any necessary adjustments to your feed, and support the order and delivery of your feed to ensure you have the right amounts at all times. Your dietitian will work closely with your health care team such as your district nurse, home care company and GP to ensure you are able to access the appropriate support for managing your tube at home.
-
You can choose to take part in the service digitally using our online resources and app, or you can access an offline service if you don’t have a smartphone or would prefer phone calls. You are in control of how you’d like to take part and so you can interact with your personal dietitian in the best way for you.
-

-
Your dietitian will be happy to organise an appointment that suits you.
-
